For our company Progetti Srl in Milan (MI) we are looking for a Financial M&A Analyst (all genders)
What you will do
• Assist with M&A activities (sell side focus), including but not limited to preparing bid models, undertaking due diligence, managing external advisers, managing data rooms and Q&A, and preparing investment documentation
• Support in the preparation of PIM, management presentations, and other documentation for M&A processes
• Assist with negotiations, transaction structuring, and defining the key contractual terms
• Facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and regular coordination with the parent company to ensure a successful transaction process
• Use best practice financial models and analysis tools to evaluate new and existing projects, undertake project finance analysis and sensitive analysis
• Assist Project Managers with business case development for new projects, providing investment analysis and clear recommendations and support on the preparation of Board and Investment Committee documentation
• Support with the financial tracking of projects against budget, liaising and reporting to PMs and the management team on a regular basis (i.e. liquidity, KPIs)
• Coordinate with other departments and centralized services of M&A, Analysts, Corporate Finance to consolidate the inputs for the project valuations, securing traceability
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• Relevant degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance or Business Administration
• At least two years of professional experience in the role, gained within corporate finance or M&A advisory context (experience in the energy sector will be considered a plus)
• Experience in transaction context (with focus on DD phase), financial analysis, and investment or project evaluation
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Attention to detail, ability to produce clear reports and presentations
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deal with multiple transactions in parallel
