The design of offshore wind farms requires an integrated analysis of geophysical and environmental data to counteract seabed mobility caused by waves and currents. It is essential to predict erosion at the base of the turbines to ensure their stability, calculate the correct burial depth of cables in relation to sediment movement, and assess the evolution of the coastline for safe landing, considering both seasonal variations and the impact of climate change.
