Event
Europe is entering a decisive phase for industrial competitiveness. The Clean Industrial Deal and the reform of EU economic governance require a qualitative leap in collaboration between innovators developing next-generation technologies, industrial champions whose adoption decisions shape value chains, and public institutions designing tools capable of creating markets.
Today, the main bottleneck is not the lack of technologies, but the absence of a structured and reliable industrial demand and risk-sharing mechanisms that allow these technologies to scale. Italy, thanks to the depth of its manufacturing fabric, solid utilities, and a strong engineering base, can become a European hub for the industrial implementation of strategic cleantech technologies.
The event brings together large industrial groups (Leonardo, Edison Next, Veolia) with technological innovators (Energy Dome, Rondo Energy, Sinergy Flow) and the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, with the aim of translating Italian cleantech potential into concrete models of industrial collaboration.
The event has the following objectives:
• To show how structured industrial demand accelerates the implementation of key technologies such as long-duration storage or direct electrification of industrial processes;
• To identify the barriers that innovators and companies encounter in terms of contracts, bankability, permitting, and risk allocation;
• To propose partnership models aligned with EU policy instruments, such as offtakes, joint demonstrations, EPC integration, long-term purchase commitments;
• To provide input to the Clean Industrial Deal and the Italian industrial strategy, positioning Italy as a key player in building demand-supply ecosystems.
