Presentation of the socio-economic study on offshore wind energy
The strategic study resulting from the collaboration between AERO, Intesa Sanpaolo, Politecnico di Bari, Politecnico di Torino, Prometeia and OWEMES will be presented to rigorously analyze the development of national offshore wind energy. The survey provides quantitative indicators on socio-economic impacts and employment needs, offering solid guidance for investments and policy decisions. By examining the capabilities of the industrial supply chain and the necessary alignment between academic training and the market, the study demonstrates the sector's potential in generating skilled employment and strengthening the technological competitiveness of the Italian supply chain in the energy transition path.
