Event
The event aims at fostering comprehensive and forward-thinking debate between researchers, industries and policy makers to inspire groundbreaking ideas and build successful partnerships to realise the energy transition and the full decarbonisation of our economy. The path to net-zero is full of ever changing challenges as we proceed towards the decarbonisation of all the energy consuming sectors and the involvement and alignment of all the main actors involved is essential.
The event will welcome research, debates and keynote speeches, involving relevant international academics and key industrial players on innovative technologies and systemic solutions as well as energy economy and policy challenges and innovations focusing on their feasibility, viability and the impact in the real environment.
This partnership will ensure a varied audience made of business actors (energy companies, manufacturers, planners developers, the financing community etc.), public sector representatives (national, regional, local and EU governments and institutions) and the international research community.
The event will set the groundwork for the 2027 Scientific Conference on the Energy Transition themes and its dissemination via Q1 Scientific Journals edited by the academics involved in the event. The upcoming conference will be focused on innovative renewable and sustainable energy technologies, as well as smart energy systems modelling and analysis, energy flexibility through sector coupling and storage technologies, energy policies, energy economics and energy efficiency.
