In this session, experts from Hitachi Energy will present the technology developed by the company, already installed worldwide, which does not contain sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and has proven to significantly reduce the carbon footprint throughout its entire lifecycle.
The European decarbonization strategy foresees a major shift in high-voltage electromechanical technologies to support grids and integrate renewable energy sources. The new European regulation on F-GAS requires the replacement of current high-voltage (HV) technologies with green technologies, without SF6.
Technology manufacturers and users will be called upon to collaborate and plan the technological transition. Hitachi Energy supports a sustainable energy future for all, enabling customers and the market to quickly switch to eco-efficient solutions.
