Event
There are many energy vectors that can contribute to the decarbonization of transport. But not all have the same potential for emissions reduction. Moreover, some rely on scarce raw materials or opaque supply chains, are difficult to scale, present cost criticalities, infrastructure challenges, or are more energy-intensive than others. In a multi-voice discussion, Kyoto Club and Transport & Environment want to frame these aspects to define not only the potential of various energy vectors, but also, and above all, where and how to best employ them.
What are the orientations of European institutions? How far can transport electrification go? What role can e-fuels, biofuels, and biomethane play?
