Cybersecurity for the energy transition: Ensure Resilience and Operational continuity adopting Flexible architectures in compliance with IEC 62443 and NIS2 directive

Tulipano Room, pav. B6

The energy transition and the integration of renewable sources are transforming industrial infrastructures and smart grids, making cybersecurity a key element to ensure resilience and business continuity. The adoption of IEC 62443 standards and the NIS2 directive is essential to protect OT and IT systems in an increasingly interconnected environment.  In this session, we will explore advanced technical solutions such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) for micro-segmentation and traffic isolation, and containerization with Docker to simplify service management.
We will present architectural models and use cases that demonstrate how regulatory security, operational flexibility, and support for decarbonization goals can be successfully combined, enabling the secure integration of renewables and intelligent grids.
